2008: A time, as they say, for growth.

Our plans for this year include a major drive to increase our membership.
So if you or someone you know may be planning to join us someday,
now might be the perfect time !

Please note that we now have a new rehearsal venue:
it's at the Argyle Centre Hall, at 33 Blaxland Road, Ryde. (There's a map here.)
Our rehearsals remain on Thursday evenings, from 7:30 to 10 pm.
New
members are always welcome. We only ask that if you're planning to visit, you contact us ahead of time so we can plan to include you in our evening.

And we have introduced scheduled dates for new members to join us, which will ease the whole process both for new joiners and for existing Singers.
For details on our next New Member night, please see below.

As ever, if you'd like to be notified directly by e.mail of our own and other events of interest to the Gaelic community, please go here to register your details with us.

Sydney History Week 2008: Open Day
As part of 2008's Sydney History Week, the Singers will be performing in concert at the Garrison Church in Sydney's The Rocks district, a locale of long history and significance for Sydney, and one of great beauty.

The theme for this year's Open Day is At the Water's Edge, a highly appropriate theme of course for traditional music from the Gaels who dwelt by the shores of the North Atlantic. Our own concert will be titled Southerly Gaels.

Entry is by gold-coin donation. Bookings aren't essential, but seating will of course be limited to the size of the venue. Please join us for this special event.
